Puppies

Without our LGD's, our farm wouldn't be complete.
Our pups live outdoors on our farm 24/7. Great Pyrenees are protectors by natural instinct. They are not taught by humans to protect. Known as gentle giants, these working dogs are a great choice for your homestead or farm, especially if you have little farmers running around. This breed is a working dog by natural instinct, so we do not recommend as pets because they love having a job :) Our puppies are actively being well socialized to our chickens, guinea fowls, ducks, turkeys, sheep, donkeys, horse, and pigs. They are given Molly's Herbals dewormer. We choose not to vaccinate our dogs as we like to take a more holistic approach with our animals, but we do offer first vaccinations for puppies upon request. We welcome anyone to come visit mama and papa dog and the puppies!

About Great Pyrenees

Great Pyrenees are an amazing breed of LGD, originating from the Pyrenees mountains bordering France and Spain. These dogs were bred to be gentle protectors of sheep, but are awesome with other livestock. They are independent thinkers which means they were bred to work without guidance, watching and protecting the flock. Because of this, sometimes your commands of sit, stay, or come will be met with reluctance. Great protectors, wonderful with kids, skilled climbers, loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and majestic. Once you've owned a Great Pyrenees, we're confident you'll never own any other breed of dog.

About the parents

Parents live on site on our farm. They are both fierce protectors, and are amazing with kids of all ages! To learn more about the parents, click the button below.

Puppies are ready for pickup at 8 weeks of age, although we highly recommend leaving them with us until 10 weeks of age (With no extra cost). We can keep the puppy up to 12 weeks as well, but charge a fee of $50 for the cost of food.

This breed is a working farm dog. We feel that these dogs do best living outdoors and while they can be indoor dogs, in our opinion its not ideal. We highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing a puppy to have a farm/land/homestead. Great Pyrs thrive protecting livestock. A fence on your property is also a must. These dogs are prone to wander so boundaries should be established early on. Your whole property does not have to be fenced, only the area you would like your pup to be protecting at minimum must be fenced; keep in mind these dogs do not do well in small spaces. We loves these pups and want the absolute best for them.

Thank you for understanding.
